This is my final post of the photos I took about this time last year in Paris, where I was privileged to visit Notre Dame Cathedral.

There were too many people around the doors, so unfortunately I couldn’t get a decent photo of them. For more interesting doors from around the globe, and/or to share yours, visit Norm 2.0.
It is so beautiful

I have always wanted to visit this place, but alas now I guess I will have to wait a few years. I’m sure the rebuild will be glorious, but it just won’t be quite the same.
Lovely shots 🙂

Yes, Janet, I was very blessed to visit last year. Norm, it will be interesting to see what the new Notre Dame will look like when it’s finished, whether similar architecture or something contemporary, or a combination of both.

I hope the rebuild focus on the old. Lucky you to have captured it before the disaster.

We’ll have to wait and see what they do, the old certainly was a beautiful edifice.
